Dennis Wayne Nunn, 77, was born May 21, 1943 in Green County, KY to the late Carl and Wilma Mae Wright Nunn. He departed this life Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He worked for Clark Casual in Greensburg.

Shirley Henderson, 85, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Robert Bell and Kathleen Wilson Bell, was born February 8, 1935 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 3:20 P.M., Sunday, January 17, 2021 in Louisville.
Shirley professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom where she served in the office for many years. Shirley loved her grandson who was her pride and joy. She also loved her church family and was a faithful worker and contributor.
Shirley united in marriage to David Henderson, Sr. December 27, 1954. He preceded her in death January 4, 2020.

Dwight Phillips Sandidge, 91, of Campbellsville, KY son of the late Daniel Dwight Sandidge and Mary Phillips Sandidge was born February 28, 1929 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Campbellsville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lou Hord Sandidge.
Dwight made a profession of faith in Christ at Greensburg Presbyterian Church and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church in Campbellsville. He was retired from Flav-O-Rich Dairy. Dwight served in the United States Navy, was an avid golfer and lifetime member of Campbellsville Country Club.

Naomi Cox, 88, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Ova Wise and Della Woodrum Wise, was born September 23, 1932 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 5:21 P.M., Monday, January 18, 2021 in Campbellsville.
Naomi professed faith in Christ and was a founding member of Farmers Chapel First Church of God. She was a cook at Taylor County Schools for over 20 years. Naomi loved to cook for her family and enjoyed Saturday morning breakfast with her boys and Sunday dinners with her kids and grandkids.
She united in marriage to Wallace Cox December 22, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Cox August 22, 2001; 2 children in infancy; 2 brothers and 1 sister: Haskel Wise, John Wise and Sarah Jane Cissell.

Murey Finn, 92, of Campbellsville, KY son of the late George Taylor Finn and Carrie Keltner Finn, was born September 25, 1928 in Green County, KY. He died at 5:50 P.M., Friday, January 15, 2021 in Boonville, Indiana.
Murey professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a retired businessman in the carpet and tile industry most of his life as the owner and operator of Finn’s carpet. Murey served as a Gideon for over 30 years. He also served in prison ministry as Assistant Chaplin at Marion Adjustment Center. He was a devout Christian and dedicated his life to the Lords work.
Murey united in marriage to Geraline Murrell December 20, 1951 and she preceded him in death in June 26, 2016.

Margey professed faith in Christ and loved attending Bible Baptist Tabernacle. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. Margey was a loving and sweet mother and grandmother. She was a kind-hearted, friendly lady who enjoyed socializing.
Margey united in marriage to Roy Mabe July 2, 1945 and he preceded her in death March 8, 2001.

Retired Sgt. Joseph Levi Janes, 59, departed this life on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at his home In Russell Springs, KY after a long battle of health issues.
Joe was preceded in death by several family members including his wife, Deborah Janes; parents: Gilmore & Juanita Janes; and a brother, David (Catherine) Janes.
Joe grew up in Greensburg, KY. After graduating, he enlisted in the US Army as a Military Policeman where he served his country all over the world. After returning home, Joe married Deborah and made his home in Russell Springs, KY and helped raise his step-daughters: Terri, Bekki, and Eva. Joe made a career in security until becoming disabled due to his service. He enjoyed spending time with family, hunting and fishing, attending church and aggravating his niece, Tonya.

Joe was a very devoted and faithful man to his family & church. He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Greensburg, KY where he was Deacon and Chairman of the Deacon Board and remained a member until his death.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 sons: Robert Lee Bridgewater and David Alexander Bridgewater; 6 sisters: Queen Bridgewater, Nora Wicker, Gertrude Powell, Omelia Thorton and Faye Mitchell; and 2 brothers: Ed Bridgewater and Amos Bridgewater.

Richard Kearnes, 77, of Campbellsville, KY son of the late William Cyrus Kearnes and Jessie Marie Wade Kearnes, was born July 31, 1943 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 7:08 P.M., Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in Louisville.
Richard professed faith in Christ and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was a retired employee of Cox Interior and was a good tool maker and wood worker. He was also a member of Elk Horn Masonic Lodge #568 F & A M.
Richard united in marriage to Arvella Martha Sprowles December 12, 1964 and she preceded him in death July 11, 2015.
Richard was a kind, considerate and caring person who enjoyed making friends, socializing and especially going out to eat. He enjoyed being a jokester had several nicknames from his times on the golf course and at Grandview Nursing & Rehab, such as “The King”, “Mayor of Grandview” and “The Boss”.

At approximately 9:00 a.m. on the morning of December 29, 2020 Noah Edward Loy, 82, past away just one day after his 64th wedding anniversary.
Noah Edward Loy was born in Fordsville, Ky, to Kavanaugh A. and Susan M. Loy on December 23, 1938. He graduated from Campbellsville High School, Ky, in 1956, where he would also meet his life long partner, Joan Sharon Caulk. “Edward” graduated from the University of Kentucky on May 30, 1960 and entered pilot training in the United States Air Force as a Second Lieutenant on June 24, 1960.
General Loy’s career included serving 2 tours in Vietnam (1967 and 1973). As a combat pilot, he amassed 239 missions, with more than 500 combat hours over Laos, Cambodia, North and South Vietnam.
He spent much of his career overseas in England and Germany as part of the NATO command, serving most notably as a Squadron Operations Officer, Squadron Commander, Base Commander, Vice Wing and eventually Wing Commander. General Loy would finish his career serving essential roles at the Pentagon (Washington D.C.). After completing 30 years of distinguished service he retired as a Brigadier General on September 1, 1990.
General Loy was a command pilot with over 4800 flying hours in fighter and training aircraft with military decorations that would include: the Distinguish Service Medal, Legion of Merit with Oak Leaf Cluster, Distinguished Flying Cross with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Medal with fifteen Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Republic of Viet Nam Gallantry Cross with Silver Star. He also received the Exceptional Civilian Service Medal for service with the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board.
General Loy and his wife Joan retired to Campbellsville, Ky in 1990. He would spend another 18 years consulting for various aerospace companies and associations. He also donated time serving the local community and his church.
Edward is survived by his wife, Joan, and two sons, Michael and David, and their families which includes, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two sisters Susan Loy Freudenthal of West Palm Beach and Linda Loy Aaron of St. Petersburg, Florida.
Uncle Ed loved and admired his many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, too many to name. Ed Loy was called by many names and titles through his distinguished career and life, but his favorite title was “Poppie”

Alvin Gupton, 78, of Campbellsville, KY son of the late John Will Gupton and Mary Ivo Russell Gupton, was born May 20, 1942 in Taylor County, KY. He died at 2:15 P.M., Sunday, January 3, 2021 in Louisville.
He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church. He loved listening to gospel music and attending church.
He united in marriage to Dawn Ellis August 27, 1966 and she preceded him in death September 2, 2010.
Alvin was a farmer and a retired security employee with Ingersoll Rand. He had also worked in transportation for several years and loved helping people in the transportation business. He enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Alvin is survived by two sons and one daughter: Todd Gupton and fiancee’ Hazel Mae Sayon of Campbellsville, Jonathan Gupton and wife, Kasey of Glasgow and Leigh Ann Bell and husband, Sam of Columbia; two grandchildren: Stephanie Dawn Bell and Billy James Bell of Columbia and many other relatives and friends.

Bro. Billie Ray Whitehouse, 78, of Campbellsville, KY was born on November 23, 1942 in Frankfort, KY to the late Jessie Wallace and Geneva (Peyton) Whitehouse. He departed this life on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.
He was a factory certified mechanic and a retiree of Bluegrass Lincoln Mercury in Louisville and Don Franklin Ford in Columbia, where he had worked a combined 45 years.
Although his talents as a mechanic were well-deserved and established, his true passion in life was in spreading God’s love to the world. In 2003, he took a pastorship and started Beulahland Community Church. His many kindnesses and encouraging words helped lift many broken and wounded spirits.

There will be a private funeral service for Bro. Whitehouse officiated by Bro. Doug Acree held at a later date. Burial will follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

James Allen Edmonds, 76, of Summersville, KY passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Holly Grove Baptist Church and was a farmer.

Dreama Lou Rafferty, 72, of Campbellsville, KY the daughter of William Stayton and the late Gladys Irene (Williams) Stayton, was born March 7, 1948 in Fort Campbell, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Louisville at Jewish Hospital.
She had made a profession of Faith in Christ and was a member of the First Church of God in Campbellsville. She got to travel extensively, being the daughter of a military family and she was a licensed beautician.
Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Lynn Rafferty.

Kristian Xavier Santiago, 25, of Lexington, KY passed from this life on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at his home after an illness. He was born on February 19, 1995 in Vineland, New Jersey.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. Mr. Santiago enjoyed the time he spent with his coworkers, friends, and family, and he loved to take them fishing every chance he could. His kind and generous heart will be dearly missed.

Burial will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery in Lebanon.

Carol Ann Rose, 67, of Summersville, KY, daughter of the late John Ralph Wellington Bean and Lilian Ellen McCubbin Bean of Summersville, was born on April 5, 1953 in Barren County and departed this life on Friday, January 1, 2021.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She had served as the Green County Board of Education Secretary for over 31 years.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband of over 49 years, Jackie Dale Rose of Summersville who united her in marriage on July 3, 1971 at the Aetna Grove Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: a son and a daughter-in-law: Jared Dale and Stephanie Rose of Keller, Texas; a daughter and a son-in-law: Jamie DeEtte and Chad Wade of Mt. Washington; four grandchildren: Isabella Wade, Chloe Rose, Mylee Rose and Harper Rose; special aunt and uncle: Everett and Donna Jean McCubbin; special cousins: Patty Payne of Nashville, Paula Blakeman of Norfolk, Virginia and Donnie McCubbin of Elizabethtown; a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Claude and Lura McCubbin.
