Naomi Cox, 88, of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Ova Wise and Della Woodrum Wise, was born September 23, 1932 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 5:21 P.M., Monday, January 18, 2021 in Campbellsville.  

Naomi professed faith in Christ and was a founding member of Farmers Chapel First Church of God. She was a cook at Taylor County Schools for over 20 years. Naomi loved to cook for her family and enjoyed Saturday morning breakfast with her boys and Sunday dinners with her kids and grandkids.

She united in marriage to Wallace Cox December 22, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Cox August 22, 2001; 2 children in infancy; 2 brothers and 1 sister: Haskel Wise, John Wise and Sarah Jane Cissell.

SURVIVORS:

5 sons and 4 daughters: Connie Arnold and husband Jeff, Rodger Cox and wife Elizabeth, Mitchell Cox and wife Cindy, Garry Cox and wife Kay, Barbara Gribbins and husband Greg, and Cheryl Sullivan and husband Randy all of Campbellsville, KY, Ricky Cox and wife Connie of Elizabethtown, KY, Nancy Cox of Lexington, KY, and Donnie Cox and wife Cheryl of London, KY

21 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren

1 brother: Calvin Wise and wife Betty of Lebanon

1 sister-in-law: Christine Wise
