Nadine Raffery, 91, of Louisville, KY daughter of the late James Franklin Skaggs and Lillian Odell Whitlow Skaggs was born August 8, 1929 in Hendricks County, Indiana. She died at 3:12 P.M. Monday, January 11, 2021 in Louisville.
Nadine had professed her faith in Christ. She was a housewife.
Nadine united in marriage to Richard Arvil Rafferty May 5, 1954 and he preceded her in death January 8, 1993. She was also preceded in death by a step-son, Richard C. Rafferty; a step-daughter-in-law Sandy Rafferty, who had been most faithful in caring for Nadine as long as she was able; one sister and one brother: Flora Elizabeth Pritchard and Robert F. Skaggs; and her twin brother, William Eugene “Bill” Skaggs in infancy.

1 step-great-granddaughter: Brooke Nichole Rafferty
1 brother: Raymond Skaggs of Campbellsville, KY
5 nieces: Peggy Weis & husband Robert and Jean Marie Skaggs of Louisville, KY; Penny Cook of Summersville, KY; Doris Sprowles and Judy Geralds & husband Jimmy of Glasgow, KY
1 nephew: Arlan Pritchard & wife Carolyn of Taylorsville, KY
