Alvert Chandler Bennett, 90, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, May 15, 2026 at his residence. He was born on November 22, 1935 in Adair County, KY to the late Willie “W.L.” and Iva Lee Grant Bennett.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Rey Rupe and a niece Dorothy Stephens.

Chandler formerly attended Tabor Community Church and enjoyed farming, logging and riding around.
