Mattie Wynema “Wanda” Ballou, 87, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow, KY. She was born in Columbia, KY on January 31, 1939 to the late Samuel Allen and Lula Keen Stephens.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Ballou and all her siblings.

Mrs. Ballou was a member of the Columbia Nazarene Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: Friday after 9:00am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home

Pallbearers: Jesse Page, Chris Emerson, Glenn Stephens, Jr., Kristin Stephens, Terry Lynn Dudley, and Ronnie Grider
