Doris Jean Wilson, 80, formerly of Louisville, KY passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 at her residence in Russell Springs. She was born July 7, 1945 in Jefferson County, KY, a daughter of the late Joseph “Buddy” and Elsie Mattingly Clemens. 

After moving to Russell County, Doris lived out her remaining years in her new home, spending time with her beloved daughter and her dogs.

1 daughter: Carol Swartz of Russell Springs

1 brother: Tommy Clemens of Louisville

2 sisters: Linda Alvey of LaGrange and Janie (& Scott) LeCompte of Frankfort

Cremation rites were honored according to Doris’s wishes and no service is planned. 

Inurnment: Resthaven Cemetery in Louisville
