Jo Elva Flatt, 88, of Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, July 17, 2026 at Fair Oaks Health & Rehabilitation. She was born in Jamestown, KY on January 16, 1938, a daughter of the late Beulah (Helm) and Bradley Carnes.

Jo Elva was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church, a homemaker, and a loving mother and grandmother.

3 daughters: Darlinda Flatt (Billy) of Jamestown, KY, Lee Robin Parrott (Bill) of Barbourville, KY and Vanessa Dudgeon of Jamestown, KY
3 sisters: Margaret Grider (J.R.) and Shirley Hopper, both of Louisville, KY and Linda Helm of Jamestown, KY

6 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Ben Carnes, a son-in-law, Danny Dudgeon; and two brothers-in-law: Roger Hopper and Russell Helm.

Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Tuesday at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel
