Allene Hardwick, 95, of Columbia, KY died Friday, May 29, 2026 at 3:09 A.M. at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was born August 27, 1930 in Adair County, KY to the late William “Bill” and Mabel Loy Rowe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Hardwick and the following siblings; Lilliam Grimmer, Jo Marie Rowe, Glenn “Dude” Rowe, Robert “Shaw” Rowe, Elroy “Buck” Rowe, Elva Rowe and Floyd Rowe.
She attended Old Concord Church, formerly worked at Union Underwear and she and her husband owned and operated several restaurants in Columbia years ago. Mrs. Hardwick taught Sunday School at Trinity United Methodist Church for 50 years.?

2 grandchildren: Tim Hardwick (Jennifer) and Ashley Hardwick all of Columbia
3 great-grandchildren: Caroline Hardwick, Madeline Hardwick and Griffen Hardwick
1 sister: Christine Hickerson of Chicago, Illinois
1 brother: Leon Rowe of Columbia

Funeral Service: Sunday, June 7, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. William Davenport and Rev. Pat Smith officiating
Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation: After 5:00 P.M. Saturday
Casket Bearers: Tim Hardwick, Griffin Hardwick, Terry Moore, Ray Fluhr, Todd Davenport, Tony Joe Compton, John Tupman, and Jon Loy
