David “Dave” Santee, 59, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, April 6, 2026 at Russell County Hospital. He was born July 16, 1966 in Fort Gordon, Georgia, a son of the late Frank and Negia Brown Santee.

Dave was a dedicated truck driver for over 17 years and was currently employed at Stephen’s Pipe and Steel at the time of his passing. He was known for his big sense of humor and his love of making people laugh. He was also a talented musician who enjoyed playing live music on weekends. Dave collected guns, took pride in his cooking, and found relaxation in fishing. His passion for woodworking and restoring old pieces of wood showed through in his many projects.

Dave cherished the outdoors, spending vacations camping and hiking whenever he could. He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and he always looked forward to family game nights, which were filled with laughter and fun.
