Margaret Marie Miller, 96, formerly of Adair County, KY died Saturday, April 4, 2026 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born October 22, 1929 in Adair County to the late Joseph Clayton and Amanda Claiborne Goodin. 
 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray E. Miller; two children: Kathy Hare and Gerald Miller; and ten siblings. 

She formerly worked for Arvin Industries, was a caregiver and homemaker.

2 daughters: Connie Leathers (Gerry Tetreau) of Lexington, North Carolina and Aleta Miller of Winston-Salem, North Carolina

3 sons: Dean Miller (Norma) of Knifley, Darryl Miller (Julie) of Glens Fork, Dwight Miller (Roxie) of Haynesville, Georgia

7 grandchildren: Michael Shawn Hare (Monica), Angela Crawhorn (Charlie), Donald Hare (Stacy), Carla Russell (Gaylon), Greg Miller (Angela), Erik Miller, Andrew Miller (Leah)

7 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild

Funeral service: Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Dwan Hadley officiating

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: After 4:00 P.M. Friday
