Raymond Vernon Ford, 82, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at his home. He was born on December 16, 1943 in Russell County, a son of the late Rufus and Laverne Roark Ford.

Raymond was a self-employed auto mechanic who enjoyed tinkering on both cars and lawnmowers.

7 grandchildren: Josh (and Crystal) Popplewell, Megan (and James) Bailey, Skylar (and Kaitlyn) Stapleton, Nicolas Popplewell, Liley Stapleton, Brayden Passmore, and Spencer Camp

6 great-grandchildren: Jaxon Fulk, Kaeden Moore, Azlynn Moore, Addison Popplewell, Garner Stapleton, and Gentry Stapleton

2 brothers: Ronnie (and Rosanna) Ford of Russell Springs and Randy (and Marilyn) Ford of Elizabethtown

3 sisters: Arlene (and Paul) Bernard and Geraldine Johnson of Russell Springs; Cheryl (and Asa) Wooten of Jamestown

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Robertson.
