Barney Joe Shuffett, 71, of Green County, KY passed away on Wednesday in Adair County as the result of a logging accident.

His wife: Donna Ruth Shuffett of Green County

2 daughters & sons-in-law: Cara Shuffett Brown & Chad of Adair County and Laura Shuffett Mohn & Erik of Oldham County

4 grandchildren: Macy Shively and Ally Brown of Adair County and Claire Mohn and Evan Mohn of Oldham County

Funeral Service: Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:00amCT at the Liberty Separate Baptist Church, 41 Liberty Church Road, Greensburg, KY

Burial: Liberty Cemetery

Visitation: Friday, February 13, 2026 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY and after 9:00amCT on Saturday at the church
