Edra Nell “Bobbie” Collins, 87, of Columbia, KY died Friday, February 6, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Metcalfe County on February 14, 1938 to the late Edward and Millie Jane Sparks Jessee. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Collins, Sr., a son, James S. Collins, Jr. and her siblings: Kizzie Gilpin, Arleen Jessee, Ruth Jessee Wade, Eulis Jessee, J.B. Jessee and Charles Jessee.

She was a member of Columbia Church of Christ and a homemaker.

SURVIVORS:

3 sons: Ricky Collins (JoAnn) of Columbia, Kerry Collins (Lynda) of Campbellsville, and Jeff Collins (Shannon) of Columba

4 daughters: Marsha Collins, Cynthia Collins, and Sandra VanArsdale (Kenneth) all of Columbia, and Judy Snider (Tom) of Edmonton

24 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends

Funeral service: Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 1:30 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Hugh Gannon and Nick Pace officiating

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: After 4:00 P.M. Monday

Casket Bearers: Andrew VanArsdale, Jonathan VanArsdale, Dylan Collins, Jason Collins, Michael Collins, and Lee Cook

Honorary: The remaining grandchildren
