Elizabeth Ann Burton, 74, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, December 20, 2025 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. She was born in Columbia, KY on March 27, 1951 to the late James Harlen and Jewell Edna Harmon Burton.

Mrs. Burton was a member of the Solid Rock Full Gospel Church and a former nurse at Russell County Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, and spending time with her family and friends.

SURVIVORS:

2 daughters: Missy Bryant (Dean Stauffer) and Teresia Sanders both of Columbia, KY

3 grandchildren: Ashley Burton (Erik), Crystal Stotts and Tiffany Hale (Nick)

8 great-grandchildren: Allie Elizabeth Burton, Hunter Damaschke, Clay, Lauren and Kinsley Hale, Camden Burton and Callie and Kinsley Stauffer

3 siblings: Woody Burton of Columbia, KY, Davis Burton of Indiana and Dorinda Streeval (Jeff) of Columbia, KY

Her beloved caregiver: Raysean “Chad” Hughes

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Andrew, Carl, Carolynn and Dorkis Burton.

Funeral Service:  Monday, December 22, 2025 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Keith officiating

Burial: Bearwallow Cemetery

Visitation: Sunday from 4:00-7:00pmCT and  Monday morning until time for the service

Pallbearers: Erik Burton, Keith Streeval, Willie Wooley, Nick Hale, Kevin Burton, Lee Burton, and Raysean “Chad” Hughes
