Carolyn Sue Rayburn Smith, 82, of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. She was born on July 30, 1943 in Green County, KY to the late Robert Lee and Dorothy Mae Kemp Rayburn.

Mrs. Smith was a member of the Hutchison Community church and enjoyed reading, quilting, painting, and spending time with her family and friends.

3 children: Lisa Burton (Ricky) of Taylorsville, IN, Mark Bradshaw (Rachel) of Columbia, KY, and Shanna Tucker (Stacey) of Edinburgh, IN

3 grandchildren: Michael Bradshaw (Roslin) of Columbia, KY, Matthew Tucker (Amber) of Edinburgh, IN and LaShana Fisette (David) of Flat Rock, IN

6 great grandchildren: Hunter, Boston, Selah, Josi, Beau, and Luke

Step-daughter: Carla Smith of Rochester, IL

2 step-grandchildren: Lindsey Harms (Joe) of Rochester, IL and Tiffany Harrison (Blake) of Caseyville, IL

3 step-great-grandchildren: Aaralena, Everly and Sienna

Several friends & other relatives

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Lee “Jimmy” Bradshaw; her second husband, Delwin “Dale” Smith; a daughter, Donna Lynn Bradshaw; and a brother, Bobby Rayburn.

Funeral Service: Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY with Bro. Larry Brown officiating

Burial: Bennett Family Cemetery

Visitation: Friday from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Saturday morning until time for the service
