Danny Wayne Burton, 72, of Columbia, KY died Friday, September 12, 2025 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. He was born on February 27, 1953 in Adair County to the late Delmer Lee and Arleter Burton. 
 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Frankie Burton, Jackie Burton and Randal Burton and one sister, Captoila Burton.

Danny was a well-known businessman in the area as owner and operator of Burton’s Auction House for 44 years

His wife of 46 years: Rita Rodgers Burton of Columbia

1 son: Darrin Burton (Tangie) of Russell Springs

2 daughters: Becky Burton of Indiana and Danna Burton of Columbia

1 brother: William Burton (Rosie) of Columbia

2 sisters: Shelia Burton and Deborah Burton Bryant (Danny) all of Columbia

2 grandchildren: Devin Burton of Indiana and Jase Burriss of Columbia
