Terry Wayne Petty, 60, of Russell Springs, KY died Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 4:32 P.M. at Select Specialty Hospital in Danville, KY. He was born May 24, 1965 in Adair County to the late Earl McCoy “Toy” and Hazel Earls Petty. 
 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dakota Petty and two sisters: Linda Turner and Geraldine Wall.

Terry was a member of Purdy Separate Baptist Church and the owner of Petty Logging

5 grandchildren: Adalynn Bernard, Levi Bernard, Garrett Petty, Chase Petty, Ashlyn Petty

Funeral Service: Monday, September 8, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Bryant and Bro. Avery Russell officiating

Burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Russell County

Visitation: After 10:00 A.M. Monday

Casket Bearers: Bobby Jessie, Billy Jessie, Greg Curry, Scotty Curry, Barry Petty, Justin Cox
