William Chatman “Billy” Willis, 92, of Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at his residence. He was born on January 15, 1933 in Columbia to the late Henry Chatman and Trevor Ellen Murrell Willis.
Mr. Willis was a member of Columbia United Methodist Church for 80 years and a farmer in Adair County. He enjoyed playing the guitar and mandolin, listening to bluegrass music, and spending time with his family and friends.

2 children: William Murrell Willis of Columbia, KY and Sherry Cowherd (David) of Campbellsville, KY
3 grandchildren: Carrie Gupton (Joe), Jessie Brockman, and Rebekah Renner (Isaac)
5 great-grandchildren: Ella Gupton, Margaret “Maggie” Gupton, James Gupton, Theodore Brockman, and Simon Brockman

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery
