Valenia Taylor Johnson, 70, of Columbia, KY died Friday, July 25, 2025 at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was born December 12, 1954 in Adair County, KY to the late David Lee and Annabelle Shirley Taylor. 
 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Telica Taylor and two sisters: Bonda Taylor and Anna Nell Smith.

Valenia was a member of New Grace Fellowship, worked at Osh Kosh B’Gosh and for 13 years was employed by Independent Living

Her husband: David Johnson of Columbia

1 son: Taran Taylor of Columbia

6 step-children: Donte’, Leondre, Shawnette, Shondeveron, Zachery, and Ronelle

3 brothers: Kevin Taylor (Lisa) of Somerset, Danny Taylor of Columbia, and Erik Stapleton of Brandenburg

1 sister: Rhonda Taylor of Bowling Green

3 grandchildren: Ta’Leahah Taylor, Travez Taylor and Aaron Taylor (Madison)

Funeral service: Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. Eastern Time at Campbellsville First Baptist Church, 704 E. Broadway, Campbellsville, with Rev. K.F. Tuck delivering the Eulogy

Burial: Crown Hill Cemetery in Campbellsville

Visitation: After 11:00 A.M (Eastern Time) Wednesday at the Church

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
