Wilburn Art “Billy” Burton, 78, of Coxs Creek, KY passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Columbia, KY on September 15, 1946 to the late Finis and Edna Earl Wilkerson.
Mr. Burton was of the Baptist faith, a veteran of the U.S. Army and an avid hunter; he also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings: Kenneth Burton, Van Keith Burton, Mary Louise Griffin, Jeanetta Faye Bradley, Betty Sue Woosley, and Marcella Eaton.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home
Burial: Moore Cemetery with military honors provided by VFW Post 6097
Visitation: Monday from 4:00-8:00pmCT and Tuesday until time for the service
