David Leon Bowlin, 69, of Russell Springs, KY passed from this life Tuesday, May 27, 2025. He was born on April 11, 1956 in Cumberland County, KY, a son of the late Bernice and Maxie Spears Bowlin. 

David was a custodian at Salem Elementary School.

4 grandchildren: Alex Cary, Stacy Cary, Blake (Sarah) Bowlin and Landon Bowlin

1 sister: Cathy Johnson (Bobby Redmon)

His beloved fur-baby: “Ginger”

Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his daughter, Leona Bowlin Cary; his son-in-law, Chris Cary; and his grandson, John Russell Bowlin.

Funeral Service: Friday, May 30, 2025 at 1:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Todd Bryant and David Lewis officiating 

Burial: Perkins Cemetery in Burkesville, KY

Visitation: Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and Friday after 8:00amCT at Bernard Funeral Home
