Wayne Melton, 71, of the Glens Fork community, died Saturday, April 19, 2025 at his home. He was born December 29, 1953 in Clinton County, KY, a son of the late Regina Meed Melton. 
 

Wayne was a Mechanic, Horse Trainer and a well-known Produce Stand Operator.

His wife: Barbara Ann Jeffries Melton of Glens Fork

2 sons: Chris Melton (Amy) and Patrick Jeffries (Katie) of Glens Fork

6 grandchildren: Chance Melton, Corey Melton, Kendall Melton, Kara Jeffries, Colton Jeffries, Ava Jefferies

2 great-grandchildren: Maxsun Melton and Tucker Melton

Special niece: Ashley Harrison (Jimmy) of Columbia

Graveside service: Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Haven Hill Cemetery with Bro. Larry Brown officiating

Visitation: After 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at Haven Hill Cemetery

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
