J.V. Selby, 89, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset, KY. He was born on March 1, 1936 in Jamestown, KY, a son of the late Vernon and Lillie Pearl Grider Selby.
He was a retired iron and construction worker, of the Methodist faith, and a Mason.

His wife: Mollie Lawless Selby of Russell Springs, KY
2 daughters: Gloria Selby and Shena Selby, both of Russell Springs, KY
A host of nieces & nephews
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three children: Valeria, Bobby and Billy Selby and seven siblings: Egbert Selby, Beatrice Selby, Eugene Selby, Carol Selby, Margie (James) Blankenship, Sylvia May, and Phyllis (Jimmy) Firquin.

Interment: Jack Lawless Cemetery in Jamestown, KY
