Betty Jean Burris, 54, of Columbia, KY died Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was born August 22, 1970 in Adair County to the late Joe and Inis Estes Phillips. 
 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Billy Phillips and Darrell “Tom Dooley” Phillips and a sister, Patricia Fisher. 
 

Betty was a member of Calvary Temple Church and a homemaker.

1 daughter & son-in-law: Brooke & Taylor Perkins of Greensburg

3 grandchildren: Judah, Camden and Hudson

7 brothers: David Lawhorn (Terrie) of Greensburg, Bobby Phillips (Treva), Jim Phillips (Helen), Terry “Muscles” Phillips (Sherry), and Steve “ToJo” Phillps (Stephanie) all of Columbia, Larry “Homer” Phillips of Russell Springs, and Danny Phillips (Evelyn) of Murray

4 sisters: Diane Ford, Sherry Biggerstaff (Danny), and Marsha Rowe all of Columbia, and Janice McCuiston of Murray

Funeral Service: Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Calvary Temple Church with Pastor Troy McWhorter and Bro. David South officiating

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: After 5:00 P.M. Friday and 9:00 A.M. Saturday at Calvary Temple Church
