Genette McKinney, 87, of Breeding, KY died Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 1:31 A.M. at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY. She was born March 16, 1937 in Cundiff, KY to the late Jimmy and Josephine Beatrice Watson Tweedy. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Truman Tweedy. 

She retired from Fruit of the Loom and was a member of Old Concord Church.

One son and daughter-in-law – Roger and Sandy McKinney of Breeding

1 sister: Glenda Sue Hicks (Carl) of Cedar Hill, Texas

Sister-in-law: Margaret Tweedy of Greensburg

7 grandchildren: Courtney McKinney, Cara Gibson (Brian), Whitney Reed Glass (Colin), Jesse Reed (Rashell), Casey McKinney, Chris Fletcher (Renee), and Cameron Fletcher (Lauren)

11 great-grandchildren

Burial: Fudge Cemetery at Breeding

Visitation: After 5:00 P.M. Friday
