Mary Irene Groce, 91, of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Russell Springs, KY on December 9, 1933 to the late Oakley Allen and Decie Evelyn Johnson Lee.
 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Ray Groce.

Mrs. Groce was a member of the Trinity Church and enjoyed quilting and crocheting.

Sister-in-law: Geneva Lee of Columbia, KY

Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews and great-great-nieces & nephews

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six siblings: Richard Edward Lee (Mary), Paul Lee, Delmer Lee (Alma), Arvist Lee (Ruby), Herman Oakley Lee, and Lena Mae Fouler (Eugene).

Funeral Service: Thursday, January 23, 2024 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Pescosolido officiating

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: Wednesday from 4:00-8:00pmCT and Thursday until time for the service

Pallbearers: Chuck Sharp, Jared Lee, Danny Pyles, Stephen Edwards, and Doug Lee
