Carolyn Sue Hale, 78, of Columbia, KY died Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at 10:17 A.M. at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born February 27, 1946 in Adair County, KY to the late Frank L. Jr., and Ruby Ellen Conover Crum. 
 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Hale and her brother, Frank L. Crum, III. 

Sue retired in 2024 from Journey to Independent Living as a Behavioral Therapist.

2 step-children: George Hale, Jr. and Cathy Logan both of Louisville

3 sisters: Sandy Tackett of Calabash, North Carolina, Darlene Shepard (Dennis) and Robin Phegley of Louisville, KY

3 nephews, one niece, 3 step-grandchildren & 3 step-great-grandchildren

Funeral service: Friday, January 3, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Shelton officiating

Burial: Bearwallow Cemetery

Visitation: After 12:00 P.M. Friday

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
