Julie Gaskins, 54, of Columbia, KY passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY after a sudden illness. She was born in Buffalo, NY on June 29, 1970 to the late Robert Herman and Elizabeth Fuhrmann Partin of Columbia who survives.

Ms. Gaskins was a Nurse Practitioner and went above and beyond when caring for her patients. All of them were very special to her. She enjoyed her animals, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Her parents: Dr. Beth and Dr. Gary Partin of Columbia, KY

2 children: Gabrielle Reagin (fiancé Josh Wendry) of Columbia, KY and Nicholas Flener (Alisa) of Louisville, KY

2 grandchildren: Eli and Owen Reagin

Her stepmother: Kathy Herman of Buffalo, NY

5 siblings: Robert Herman (Renee Zobl), Dr. Michael Partin (Fiancé Kathleen Cox), Jon Herman (Brenda), Peter Herman (Colleen) and Debbie Herman

There will be a private service with burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Adair County Animal Shelter.
