Joan Carol Shaw, 67, of Russell Springs, KY passed from this life on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Metcalfe Care Center in Edmonton. She was born on April 18, 1957 in Russell County, a daughter of the late Refus Dowell and Ada Mae Coffey Gentry.
Joan was a member of Coffey Hill Friendship Church. She loved her family, sons and grandkids with all her heart. Joan was a homemaker who liked to drink her coffee.

2 sons: Jerry Shaw and Randall Shaw of Russell Springs
1 sister: Judy Campbell of Columbia
2 granddaughters: Ryann Lilith Shaw and Briar LeAnn Shaw
Along with her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her brothers: Jerry “Can-Man” Gentry and Eldon “Peanut” Gentry; and her sisters: Wanda Rhoten and Ella Johnson.
