Glendale Akin, 83, of the Fairplay community in Adair County, KY passed away at his home on Sunday, October 13, 2024. He was born to the late Oris Guy and Dorothy Stotts Akin in Chance, Kentucky on April 4, 1941.
 

In addition to his parents, he was also proceeded in death by one daughter, Talana Jessie and several brothers and sisters.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Word of Life Family Church. Glendale was a retired concrete worker and carpenter.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 12 Noon at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Parnell officiating

Burial:; McClister Cemetery.

Visitation: 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 and after 7:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home
