Vickie Gale Petty, 72, of Columbia, KY died Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the home of her daughter in Burbank, Illinois. She was born May 1, 1952 in Chicago, Illinois to the late James and Rachel Keith Smith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Dean Petty on May 14, 2024; two daughters: Deana Petty and Lisa Petty Cooper; and a grandson, Derrick Pickett. 

Vickie was a former Associate at Walmart in Columbia.

SURVIVORS:

1 daughter: Shelia Richard (William) of Burbank, Illinois

2 sons: Wayne “Pokus” Smith and Troy Petty (Amber), both of Columbia

9 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: After 5:00 P.M. Saturday
