Rhoda Sue Schubert, 83, of Wheaton, IL died Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at her home. She was born September 23, 1940 in Adair County, KY to the late Murrie and Opal Hovious Knifley. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Schubert; an infant daughter, Kathy Garrett; and two brothers: C.R. “Buddy” Knifley and Charles Wallace Knifley.

3 sons: Anthony Wayne Garrett (Christine) of Wheaton, IL, Darrell Garrett of Columbia, KY and Curt Alfred Schubert of Bridgeview, IL

1 daughter: Shelly Schubert of Springfield, MO

1 brother: Don Knifley (Betty) of Columbia, KY

10 grandchildren & 18 great-grandchildren

Funeral Service: Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in Columbia, KY with Bro. Adam Shepard officiating

Burial: Columbia Cemetery

Visitation: After 11:00 A.M. Sunday

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
