Coy Dean Petty, 72, of Columbia, KY died Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was born September 11, 1951 to the late Clyde and Mary Helen Pelston Petty.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters: Lisa Petty and Deana Petty; a sister, Marcine Melson; and a grandson, Derrick Pickett.  

Coy Dean was a roofer and mechanic.

1 daughter: Sheila Richard (William) of Chicago

4 sisters: Irene Furkins, Judy Bunch and Vicki Melson all of Columbia and Teresa Scott of Russell Springs

8 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchilden
