Barbara Jean Bloyd, 79, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia, KY. She was born November 3, 1944 in Russell Springs, the daughter of Fred Grayum and Sallie “Francis” Ballenger Grayum.
Mrs. Bloyd was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma. She enjoyed cooking, working crossword puzzles, watching golf and was an avid bird watcher. She was everyone’s “mom” and would always make sure to cook something special or prepare a sweet treat for everyone. She was also known to give anything she had to anyone in need.

2 brothers: Jimmy Grayum and Dennis (Debbie) Grayum
4 children: Barry (Thelma), Mark, Gary (Melissa), and Alicia (Anne)
7 grandchildren: Amber, Josh, Jared (Brooklyn), Brianna, Chelsie, Kaley and Kendall
1 great granddaughter: Susan Grimsley
