Susan Ann Nokes, 60, of Columbia, KY passed from this life on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 23, 1963 in Louisville, KY, one of two children born to the union of the late James Willard and Shelby Jean Estes Nokes.

Susan graduated from beauty college and worked many jobs throughout her life. She loved being outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and warm weather. Susan loved flamingos and going to the beach. Susan had a contagious smile and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and will be missed deeply by everyone who knew her.

SURVIVORS:

2 children: Brandon (Leslie) Nokes of Columbia and Reba Jean (Dustin) Hodson of Atlanta, Texas

7 grandchildren: Riley, Maycee, Asher, Ragnar, Ronan “Rollo”, Rune, and Rurik

1 sister: Angie Marie (Allen) Pierce of Campbellsville

Niece: Shelbie Pierce of Bowling Green

Special companion: Robert Biggerstaff of Columbia

Per Susan’s wishes, cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled.
