Allene Collins Aaron, 94, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 at Summit Manor Nursing Home in Columbia, KY. She was born in Adair County on April 30, 1929 to the late Vertie W. and Montra Aaron Collins.
 

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Aaron and two siblings: Ray and Maxine Collins.

Mrs. Aaron was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church and was a teacher in the Adair County School System, starting in a one room schoolhouse before retiring at John Adair Middle School. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

1 daughter: Annette Aaron Keltner (Greg) of Columbia, KY

1 granddaughter: Laramie Pelston (Bart) of Columbia, KY

2 great-grandchildren: Greyson and Dawson Pelston

1 sister: Kathleen Gregory of Louisville, KY

Funeral Service: Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Pescosolido and Bro. Bill Davenport officiating

Burial: Grant Cemetery

Visitation: Sunday from 5:00-8:00pmCT and Monday morning until time for the service
