Harold G. Aaron, 80, of Russell Springs, KY passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington. He was born April 12, 1943 in Russell County, a son of the late Luther and Cletta Luttrell Aaron. 
 

At an early age, he was baptized and was later married at the Bernard Ridge Church of God. Harold was a farmer and a carpenter, who in earlier times, had enjoyed fishing and coon hunting. He was a good husband and father, a very generous man, willing to help those in need.

His wife of 60 years: Carolyn Dunbar Aaron

2 sons: Ronnie (Tracy) Aaron and Brian (Kelly) Aaron, both of Russell Springs

1 daughter: Teresa (Steve) McFall of Jamestown

3 brothers: Bruce (Brenda) Aaron of New Castle, Indiana, Paul (Marilyn) Aaron and Joe (Sandy) Aaron, both of Russell Springs

4 sisters: Jerlene Nice of Salem, Indiana, Peggy Johnson of Russell Springs, Debbie (Darris) Bennett of Russell Springs, and Grace (George) Patty of Salem, Indiana

8 grandchildren: Rachel (Steven French) McFall, Ben McFall, Lucas McFall, Katelyn (Chance) Montgomery, Cameron (Star Marcum) Aaron, Kerigan Aaron, Nicholas Aaron and Nathan Aaron

4 great-grandchildren: Jaxton Montgomery, Oakley Aaron, Maelee Montgomery and Brynlee French

A host of nephews, nieces and other family members

Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law: Grover Johnson and Don Nice.

Burial: Bernard Ridge Cemetery
