Linda Marie Schmidt, 70, of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at T.J. Health Columbia. She was born on June 17, 1953 in Staten Island, NY to the late Joseph and Anna Legac Burns.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Mary Burns.
Ms. Schmidt enjoyed the ocean, music, and sailing, but the love of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren.
SURVIVORS:
2 sons: Chris Schmidt (Rebecca) of Columbia, KY and Joseph Schmidt (Sevdagul) of Turkey
2 grandchildren: Cole and Anna Schmidt
The family chose cremation and will have a private service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jeanetta Peers Scholarship Fund at Lindsey Wilson College 210 Lindsey Wilson St. Columbia, KY 42728.
