Plez (Bud) E. Cowan, 91, of Jamestown, KY passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at home. He was born in St. Charles, VA on August 21, 1932, a son of the late Mattie (Nellems) and Jessie James Cowan

Mr. Cowan served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired meat cutter.

2 brothers: David Cowan of IN and Richard Cowan of CA
2 grandchildren: Joshua Gray and Janal (Jason) Popplewell

2 great-grandchildren: Corey Shepherd and Camren Dunlap

1 great-great grandchild: Brodie Popplewell

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Janet (Elliott) Cowan; 2 brothers: Joe and Ike Cowan; and 2 sisters: Ellen Grizzle and Beulah Lewis.
