Gary Lynn Conover, 62, of Columbia, KY died Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at his home after an illness. He was born October 11, 1961 in Adair County to Alva Gene Conover and the late Cathy Johnson Conover. 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Conover Strange and a brother, Larry Conover.

Gary was a member of Columbia Church of God, serving as Pianist and in other areas of ministry  where he was needed.  He was an over the road truck driver for 33 years.

His wife: Janice Bryant Conover of Columbia

2 sons: Jared Conover (Chelsea) and Brandon Wood (Chelsea), both of Columbia

7 grandchildren: Ella, Allie, Sadie, Tela and Evie Conover, Grayson and Addie Wood

His father: Rev. Gene Conover of Columbia

2 sisters: Teresa Thompson (David) of Georgetown and Pam Popplewell (Stacey) of Russell County

1 brother: Jon Conover (Peggy) of Columbia

Several nieces, nephews and other relatives & friends

Funeral service: Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Stephens officiating

Burial: Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation: After 4:00 P.M. Saturday

Casket Bearers: Chad Pike, Koh Kraner Kory Kraner, Jordan Simpson, Josh Conover, Jared Conover
