Shawn Patrick Murphy, 43, of Jeffersontown, KY passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Jefferson Manor Rehab and Wellness Center. He was born in Louisville, KY on September 13, 1980 to Kenneth Murphy of Jeffersontown, KY, and the late Rebecca Faye Burton Murphy.

Mr. Murphy attended the Highview Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Edwin Robert & Stella Mae Wilson Murphy; maternal grandparents: Orby & Revone Burton; three aunts: Brenda Sue Loy, Marie Murphy, and Lisa Burton; and an uncle, Donnie Burton.

Funeral service: Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Elbert Hadley officiating

Burial: Antioch Cemetery

Visitation: Friday from 4:00-8:00pmCT and Saturday until time for the service at the funeral home
