Earl G. Bennett, 88, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at T.J. Health Columbia. He was born on January 1, 1936 in Jamestown, KY, a son of the late Russell M. Bennett and Martha Susan Wade Bennett.

Mr. Bennett was retired from the United States Navy after 34 years of service as a "Hull Technician Master Chief Master Diver." Once retired, he came back to his home community of Sano, living for over 30 years where he worked as a farmer, raising cattle and growing his own crops including hay, corn and tobacco.

1 son: Russell Bennett of Columbia, KY

2 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Boudreaux Bennett and two brothers: Ralph and Garvin Bennett.
