Glenda Taylor Evans, 77, of Columbia, KY passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Summit Manor Nursing Home. She was born August 13, 1946 in Adair County, a daughter of the late Edward and Marie Hamilton Taylor.

Glenda was also preceded in death by her former husband, Keith Evans.

Glenda was a retired employee of Cummins Inc. of Columbus, Indiana. She fulfilled her longtime goal of returning to Columbia in 2017. She loved being at home and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, Bible studies and was gifted artistically.

4 brothers: Fred (Sheila) Taylor, Edwin (Carolyn) Taylor, and Sammy (Margaret) Taylor all of Columbia, KY and Orville (Donna) Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio

2 sisters: Jeanette Rucker of Louisville and Rita (Terry) Partin of Columbia

Nephews: John Partin, Tracy Taylor, Trent Taylor, Brian Taylor and Greg Allen

Nieces: Julie Burton, Candi Flatt, Bethany Shain, Deanna Quillen, Melissa Farris and Darlisa Padgett

Funeral Service: Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Moon officiating

Burial: Jones Chapel Cemetery

Visitation: After 11:00 A.M. Saturday

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Jones Chapel Cemetery which can be left at the funeral home.
