Jeanette Bottom Wolford, 88, of Russell Springs, KY passed from this life on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Russell County Hospital. She was born May 3, 1935 in the Royville Community of Russell County, the daughter of the late Bert and Tressie Bottom.

Jeanette was formerly employed by Grider Insurance Agency and as City Clerk of Russell Springs. She was a member of First Baptist Church and attended Faith Baptist Church. Jeanette was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, and talking with friends and relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elba Wolford; three brothers: Raymond Bottom, Veston “Bocky” Bottom, and William “Billy” Bottom; one sister, Janis Holt; and five infant siblings.

2 sons: Joel Wolford & wife Connie of Frankfort, KY and Eric Wolford & wife Susan of Russell Springs

3 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren

Funeral Service: Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 2:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Richie Curtis officiating

Visitation: Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and on Sunday, December 3, beginning at 7:30amCT

Pallbearers: Myles Bottom, Terry Waddell, Adam Daniel, Brandon Eads, Adrian Eads, and Dustin Shearer

Special music: Erin Wolford

Interment: Bethlehem Cemetery
