Edna Karnes, 78, of Columbia, KY died Friday, October 27, 2023. She was born October 5, 1945 in Adair County to the late Paul and Dorothy Buckner Curry.
 

Edna was a member of Sparksville Church of the Nazarene and retired as an Instructional Aide from the Adair County School System. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brady Karnes and a nephew, Brandon Burns.

One son & daughter-in-law: Bradley & Cheryl Karnes of Columbia

1 daughter & son-in-law: Lea Ann & Landon Parnell of Columbia

4 grandchildren: Sarah DeWitt (Alex), Colton Parnell (Britney), Chloe Karnes, Jaxon Karnes

1 great-granddaughter: Olivia Parnell

2 sisters & brothers-in-law: Paula & Jeff Pyles of Green County and Mary Anna & Barney Burns of Columbia

Funeral Service: Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Karnes and Bro. Darrell Pelston officiating

Burial: Cane Valley Cemetery

Visitation: After 4:00 P.M. Monday

Casket Bearers:  Barney Burns, Randy Burns, Alex DeWitt, Colton Parnell, George Kenneth Pollard, Matthew Corbin, & Roger Lacy
