Barbara (Jeanie) McWhorter Halsell, 89, of Louisville, KY passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Story Point Prospect. She was born in Jamestown, KY on January 16, 1934, a daughter of the late Edith (McFall) and Julian McWhorter.
Barbara was a retired payroll clerk after working 38 years at Colgate-Palmolive.

2 sisters: Orene Tucker of Columbia, KY and Margaret McGaha of Louisville, KY
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Halsell; a sister, Lucy Helm; and two brothers: J.R. McWhorter and Orvis Glen McWhorter.
