Lauren Cortney Johnson, 31, of Russell Springs, KY gained her heavenly wings on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Russell County Hospital. She was born July 17, 1992 in Somerset, KY, a daughter of Jerry Keith Johnson and Annette Hart Johnson. 
 

Lauren worked as a caregiver, for both the young and elderly. She loved music and watching her fiancé Seth perform at concerts. Lauren was an animal-lover and an artist who enjoyed drawing and painting. She was a wonderful mother and her boys were the center of her life. Lauren remained steadfast in believing that God was faithful, and He would carry her though to the end of her journey in this life.

Her fiancé: Seth Wade of Russell Springs

3 children: Camdynn Johnson, Jasper Johnson, and Kayden Wade

Maternal grandparents: Keith & Georgene Hart of Russell Springs
 

Lauren was preceded in death by two brothers: Waylon Polston and Dylon Johnson; and her paternal grandparents, L.C. & Wanda Johnson.

Celebration of Life: Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 2:00pm-4:00pmCT at Bernard Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, Kentucky 42503. Donations may also be left at the funeral home.
