Dakota “Coda” Tarter, 62, formerly of Columbia, KY died Monday, September 25, 2023 at her residence in Somerset. She was born April 28, 1961 in Adair County to the late Edwin “Tootie” and Fannie Taylor Tarter. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, David Tarter and one sister, Linda Ford.

4 brothers: Terry Tarter of Glasgow, Charles Tarter (Kathy), Andy and Danny Tarter all of Columbia

3 sisters: Peggy Tarter of Somerset, Rosa Tarter and Carolyn Tarter both of Columbia

Graveside Service: Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Columbia Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating.

Burial to follow.

There will be no visitation.

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
