Ronald Dale Bryant, 66, of Columbia, KY passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Adair County on September 11, 1956 to the late William Purd and Louvenia Rodgers Bryant.

Mr. Bryant was a member of the Milltown Church and a Safety Director for Rogers Trucking Company. He enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandsons Alex and Lucas.

His wife: Debbie Hopper Bryant of Columbia, KY

1 son: Shane Bryant (Amy) of Metairie, LA

2 grandsons: Alex & Lucas Bryant

2 siblings: Garry Bryant (Linda) and Deborah Bryant (Steve Gadberry) both of Columbia, KY

Brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Jim Hopper (Rebecca), Bud Hopper, Janet Therman (David), and Terry Fitz all of Indiana, and Betty Williamson of Texas

Several nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews including a special great niece, Rickie Mae “tooter bug” Bryant

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alesha Ann Morrison; his mother-in-law & father-in-law, James & Pat Hopper; two sisters-in-law: Patty Fitz and Jody Hopper; and a brother-in-law, Ken Williamson.

Funeral Service: Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11:00amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. Barney Taylor officiating

Burial: Tarters Chapel Cemetery

Visitation: Thursday from 4:00-8:00pmCT and Friday morning until time for the service at the funeral home 

Pallbearers: Daryl Pendleton, Charles Breeding, Will Morrison, Tyler Bryant, Justin Bryant, and Garry Monroe Bryant

Honorary Pallbearers: Steve Gadberry, Elliot Morrison, and Glenn Breeding
