Bobbie Jean Burks, 79, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Liberty Care Center, in Liberty. She was born in the Bryan community of Russell County, KY on March 24, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert William and Jewell Edith Hill Bunch.
Bobbie was a faithful member of Bethesda Community Fellowship Church, where she taught Sunday School for nearly 20 years. She was a former employee at Sutton Shirt Factory and later Fair Oaks Health and Rehabilitation, working as a CNA.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Wayne Burks, who passed away on September 29, 2014; one son, Kevin Burks; one brother, Larry Bunch; and one sister, Geraldine “Jerry” Stephens.
